NABGG will meet in conjunction with the annual Conference of the Geological Society of America in Denver, CO.

 

 

We've requested meeting dates for a reception on the evening of Saturday 26th, NABGG luncheon on Sunday, October 27th and Business meeting on Sunday, October 27th.

 

Members can register by registering for the GSA Convention.  The GSA website is www.geosociety.org.

 

NABGG members that have currently PAID their membership dues will be able to register for the GSA convention at the GSA members rate (which is considerably cheaper than for non-members.

 

If planning to attend GSA, please pre-register because registration fees increase considerably after September 20th.

The GSA Committee for Minority & Women Geoscientists will bring ~ 30 students on an all day field trip on Tuesday, October 29th.  NABGG members are welcomed to join the field trip and volunteer as well.  Conrad Allen should have most of the details about the field trip and we'll add the details when we receive them.  This information will NOT be on the GSA website.
